Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains your cancellation and refund rights when you buy a reveal page from Be My Best Man. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. What you're buying
You're buying digital content: a personalised reveal page and a shareable link. There is no physical product. The link is generated and delivered to you immediately after your payment is confirmed.
2. Your statutory cancellation right and why it does not apply after delivery
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase for a refund.
For digital content delivered immediately, this right is lost once delivery begins — but only if you have agreed to it. So, at checkout, before we generate your link, you are asked to:
- Consent to your page being created and your link delivered immediately, and
- Acknowledge that by doing so you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the link is generated.
Once you have given that consent and your link has been generated, the purchase is non-refundable under the cancellation right, because the digital content has been supplied to you.
If you have not yet completed payment, or your payment failed, no link is created and nothing is charged — there is nothing to cancel.
3. Your rights if something is wrong (these always apply)
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose. If your page is faulty, doesn't work, or isn't what was described, you are entitled to a repair or, if that's not possible or doesn't fix it, a refund. Contact us and we'll put it right.
This does not cover mistakes in the information you entered (for example, a misspelled name or the wrong photo) — see goodwill below.
4. Goodwill refunds and fixes
We want you to be happy with your page. Even though immediate-delivery purchases aren't refundable as of right, we may at our discretion offer a fix or a refund — for example if you spot a typo straight after buying. Get in touch as soon as possible via our contact form and tell us what's wrong.
5. How to contact us
Use our contact form (select "Refund request") or email hello@bemybestman.com with your order email address and a short description of the issue. We aim to reply within 2 working days.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 working days.
7. What happens to your page when you're refunded
When a refund is issued for an order, we treat that as a request to remove the reveal page that order paid for. As soon as we receive the refund notification from Stripe, your reveal page is taken offline (the link will stop working) and the photos you uploaded for that page are deleted from our storage. A minimal record of the order is kept for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes only, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
